Just for Men…Part 1

29 Jul

Hi Readers,

Business suits are rather traditional and remain unchanged from one season to the next. It’s always a great idea to invest in a few well-fitted, expensive suits since you could always mix and match to express your individuality.

There are a few basic colors you could wear to maintain a professional and chic appearance. Navy blue, dark grey and black are traditional colors however, Summer 2011 earthy tones such as brown, taupe and khaki green could also be worn to spice up a look.

Men’s suits for 2011 are slim and trim. Jackets fall around the hip and are tapered at the waist. Pants are cut to hug the thigh and taper slightly so they fall towards the ankle.  Proper fitting is essential since any size variation may cause a suit to go from sleek and sophisticated to sloppy and unkempt.

Even though you may not be cooling off while swimming in a pool doesn’t mean that you should be sweating. Suits made of breathable materials such as cotton and linen ensure that we look hot rather than feel hot. When shopping for a linen suit pay attention to the fabric texture. High quality linen is characterized by a smooth surface that is free from visible imperfections.

Dress shirts and ties are a great way to show off your unique personality. This Summer is all about bold colors. Men confident in following this trend have a range of dress shirts in pinks, purples and bright greens available. If you choose to play it safe, it’s always best to opt for a neutral color like white, with no pattern but if you do go for a print, try stripes, small checks and colored gingham. Match your tie with your shirt. This tone on tone trend contradicts styles of the past which emphasized on tie-shirt color contrasting.

Going business casual for the best day of the week (Yahh it’s Friday!), is as easy as removing your tie or rolling up your sleeves midway between your wrist and elbow. Make sure your cuffs still look neat and are not bunched up. But keep your sleeves rolled down if you wish to maintain an
appearance of strictly business.

Although summer is usually associated with t-shirts and shorts, business must go on despite the scorching heat. Luckily Summer suits have been designed to help you work comfortably while looking sexyfab!
